330,000 square foot multi-tenant facility to be optimized for the large footprint enterprise  

New York, NY – March 1, 2010 — Sentinel Data Centers, LLC, in partnership with Russo Development, LLC, announced today that it has begun construction to build out a recently acquired property in Somerset County, New Jersey as a large multi-tenant data center.  The facility resides on 22.5 acres and consists of a 230,000 square foot single-story structure, expandable to 330,000 square feet.

Sentinel has commenced construction of a dedicated on-site 69kV power substation for delivery in mid-summer. The substation will be served redundantly via diverse paths from two transmission-grade utility switching stations and will provide in excess of 40 megawatts of power to the facility.  The facility will ultimately yield 160,000 square feet of net computer room space supported by a highly resilient and efficient critical plant and demiseable into autonomous computer room pods ranging from 2,000 to 50,000+ square feet.
